Welcome to Donny's Guide Service
Donny Felton is an avid fisherman
who has spent countless hours fishing the waters of Dale Hollow Lake
in Kentucky and Tennessee, Center Hill and Old Hickory Lakes in
Tennessee. He would love the opportunity to share his love of the
sport and his knowledge of these lakes with you. Donny is US Coast
Guard Certified.
Donny can show you the
best techniques and good fishing spots -- whether fishing in the
summer for Walleye or year-round for smallmouth bass on beautiful
Dale Hollow Lake, Blacknose Crappie on Center Hill Lake in November
and December, or Sauger on Old Hickory Lake in January and February,
Donny welcomes the experienced and inexperienced and enjoys sharing
his knowledge with children when accompanied by an adult. Donny also
is an expert at Float and Fly Fishing for Smallmouth on Dale Hollow,
and
Center Hill.
Have a fun and relaxing time in
a friendly atmosphere while riding down the lake in a 2003 ProCraft
200
Super PRO with a 200HP Mercury EFI. This boat offers a smooth,
comfortable and dry ride. It has been modified to accommodate 2
people for live bait fishing. This boat is loaded! Rods, bait and
tackle furnished. All you need to bring is appropriate clothing,
including rain gear, and drinks and snacks.

Donny is also familiar with the Float n Fly method of winter fishing, as well as other techniques for mining some of the biggest fish in Dale Hollow and, Center Hill. Donny is one of the few guides who can take you fishing for Walleye on Dale Hollow and Blacknose Crappie on Center Hill Lake. Book several days on both lakes. Donny is one of the best at catching fall Black Nose Crappie in November and December on Center Hill Lake. This is an annual 8 week bite. You can double up fishing for Crappie and Smallmouth in December. In the middle of winter when Northern Lakes are Frozen, Tennessee's Lakes churn out some of the best smallmouth in the country, as well as crappie. No Hard Water in Tennessee. December, January and February are the best months for Sauger on Old Hickory Lake and Donny can flat put you on those tasty fish. |
